We may use personal information for several purposes
TSA Telco Group may collect your personal information to:

TSA Telco Group will not collect, use or disclose sensitive information about you unless we have your consent or, unless we are legally required to collect, use or disclose that information. We will always explain the purpose for collecting personal information.
Sensitive information, as defined by law, is any information about a person’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinion, membership of a political association, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, membership of a professional or trade association, membership of a trade union, sexual preferences or practices, criminal record or health information.

Personal information is usually used or disclosed only after obtaining your consent. Your express consent can be verbal or written. You can imply consent when we can reasonably conclude that you have given consent by some action you take, or when you decide not to take action.

We will properly dispose of all paper documents that contain personal information that are no longer needed. All information stored in electronic form that is no longer required will be deleted from our systems.

Privacy in employment
TSA Telco Group appreciates the importance of protecting the personal information of its employees. TSA Telco Group will comply with its statutory obligations with respect to the privacy of its Employee Records and Employee Health Information. In particular, TSA Telco Group will comply with its obligations under State statutes relating to the collection and handling of Employee Health Information.
The Privacy Act exempts all employers from the need to comply with the National Privacy Principles with respect to Employee Records where the collection and/or handling of those records relates directly to a current or former employment relationship between the employer and its employees. Nonetheless, TSA Telco Group is committed to providing appropriate privacy protections covering its Employee Records.

This statement sets out our Privacy Principles. It replaces any of our other Policies to date.
